Homemade Pasta

This recipe is for homemade pasta, using a hand cranked pasta maker. Feel free to make any adjustments you need to make. We have used this recipe to make ravioli, as well as linguine or fettuccine cut pasta.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp herbs of choice

  • 6 Tablespoons of water

Directions

  • Combine dry ingredients into mixer or bowl
  • Add beaten eggs
  • Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time until dough is stretchy, but not sticky
  • Knead dough with your hands and dived into small sections. Roll those sections out with a rolling pin.
  • Using a pasta maker, run each section of the dough through. First at Level 1, then again at Level 3, and once more at Level 5. Let sit for 20 minutes, then cut into your desired pasta form.
  • Add pasta to boiling water and cook for 8 minutes. Drain into colander and add olive oil.
  • Serve with your favorite pasta sauce!
