Cranberry White Chocolate Scones

Oh the weather outside is frightful…but the oven is on and the scones are oh so delightful! This scone recipe is the one you have been looking for! It is delicious, light, and flavorful. It is not too sweet either, which I am a fan of. If you are not, I would suggest adding a light glaze.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All Purpose flour, sifted

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 1/3 cup coconut sugar

  • 4 tsp baking powder

  • 3 Tblsp solid coconut oil

  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce

  • 1 cup dried cranberries

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or chunks

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  • Combine flour, sugar, salt and baking powder in a large bowl
  • Add in the coconut oil and press with a fork until the mixture is crumbly
  • Mix in the applesauce until a nice dough is formed
  • Add in the cranberries and white chocolate
  • Spoon onto a greased baking pan and form slightly with your fingers
  • Bake for 22 minutes
  • Remove from the oven and let them cool
  • Eat and enjoy!
